The main purpose of the Transportation Undergraduate Research Fellowship (TURF) Program is to expose and equip engineering undergraduate students with critical thinking and research skills and tools through supervised research on topics relevant to transportation engineering and planning with a livability theme under a faculty mentor. The program enables undergraduate students to work with a faculty on a pre-approved research plan. At the end of the research program, the students will be expected to provide a concise technical report describing research findings.
